Heriberto Calderon, known professionally as “Eddie,” boasts a robust career spanning over two decades within the hospitality industry, primarily focusing on hotel operations and sales. His extensive expertise encompasses renowned brands such as Wyndham, Hilton, IHG, Marriott, and Hyatt across diverse markets. Notably, Eddie has recently expanded his repertoire to include Choice Hotels.

Eddie’s profound knowledge and proficiency are products of his unwavering commitment and relentless pursuit of excellence. His insatiable thirst for learning has propelled him to assume pivotal roles in both operations and sales, including sales manager, director of conference services, general manager, and director of sales.

During his thirteen-year tenure with Concord Hospitality, Eddie has garnered acclaim in three key areas: Training, Leadership, and Results.

In terms of Training, Eddie Calderon has played a pivotal role in onboarding new sales leaders at Concord, imparting expertise on various brand tools from Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt, and IHG, alongside instilling sales compliance for Internal Audit. He actively engages in Concord’s mentoring program and serves as a DST Trainer, earning praise from colleagues for his thoroughness and attention to detail. His contributions have underscored his potential to disseminate knowledge effectively within the organization.

Eddie’s Leadership capabilities have consistently shone through, exemplified by his track record as a top performer and his adeptness in assuming senior leadership roles within the team. He has represented Concord in presentations to major industry players such as Marriott, Hilton, and Hyatt, demonstrating his standing as a trusted ambassador for the company. Furthermore, Eddie’s nomination for the prestigious Concord Leadership Excellence Award and his leadership of the Sales Managers Advisory Council (SMAC) emphasizes his significant contributions to the organization.

In terms of Results, Eddie’s prowess as a relationship builder is evident, as he continuously seeks out new business opportunities and segments to ensure the sustained profitability of his hotel in competitive markets. His steadfast commitment to surpassing budget expectations and achieving year-over-year growth in ADR highlights his status as a goal-driven sales leader.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Eddie remains deeply rooted in his community and family life. A first-generation Cuban American hailing from South Florida, he currently resides in Royal Palm Beach with his wife, Ann Marie, and their two children, Chloe Marie a 22-year-old UCF music major and Marc Anthony a 20-year-old hospitality student with his passion set in the culinary arts. Outside of work, Eddie actively volunteers with local organizations such as the Knights of Columbus Chapter and participates in events supporting the local Fire Fighter Associations. His personal interests include family vacations, golfing, snorkeling, and culinary adventures, often shared with his son in the kitchen.
