Vice President of Digital Strategy
Dan Fernandez oversees Concord Hospitality’s digital marketing department, guiding and supporting Concord’s position as a leader in hospitality digital marketing. Prior to Concord Dan was a key contributor at Cendyn, a leading hospitality marketing and data firm, where he spent 8 years leading their digital marketing division which included Cendyn’s strategy, SEO, SEM, social media, advertising operations, and digital marketing business development departments. During this time he led the digital marketing strategy for over 100 independent properties such as Hotel Del Coronado, The Broadmoor, The Breakers and Fontainebleau; and property management companies White Lodging, Sage and Interstate; where he developed digital marketing strategies for Marriott, Hyatt, Hilton and IHG properties. Prior to Cendyn he was with the digital division at Omnicom’s Zimmerman Advertising working on the Atlantis Paradise Island account.
Dan sits on numerous advisory boards including appointments on HSMAI’s Marketing Advisory Board, HSMAI’s Chief Digital & Distribution Officer Council and Hilton’s Franchise Digital Advisory Board. His team also represents Concord on the Marriott, Hyatt and Choice Digital Franchise Advisory Committees.
He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management and Marketing from Florida Atlantic University.
