Concord University encompasses several learning opportunities targeted to enhance the knowledge and skills of the leaders within Concord. Each class is uniquely crafted to ensure the participants receive insightful instruction, the opportunity to work on multi-generational teams and valuable networking time to share best practices. Participants will graduate Concord University prepared to support our company’s mission and vision which is to provide a great place to work for all. Leadership courses are held at our corporate office and classes are facilitated by leaders from our hotels and corporate teams; all participants get to meet and interact with our senior leaders. Concord University includes the following courses:
Leadership Development I
Leadership Development I is a 5-day learning experience for all newly hired or promoted operational leaders. This course provides a business foundation for our leaders while further immersing them into Concord’s culture and the immeasurable role class graduates will have in its safe harbor. During this week team members will participate in classes that cover topics from time management to dining etiquette.
Leadership Development II
Leadership Development II is a 4-day learning experience for our emerging leaders who have expressed the desire and displayed the capabilities to move into the next level of leadership. This course allows for a deeper dive into the leadership principles learned in LDI.
Leadership Development III
Leadership Development III is a 3-day learning experience for all newly hired or promoted hotel General Managers. This course allows hotel General Managers to discover the many resources available within Concord to assist in the effective operation of their hotel.
Dynamic Sales Training
Dynamic Sales Training is a 4-day learning experience for all newly hired or promoted hotel Sales leaders. This course provides a leadership foundation and cultural emersion for sales leaders with an emphasis on selling strategies.
In addition to the above classes Concord offers an eLearning platform available to all associates immediately upon hire. The eLearning functionally allows associates to access training at a time that best meets their needs. With over 500 courses available our associates have the opportunity to grow in the areas that most interest them.
