Christopher Tyner

Chris joined Concord Hospitality in October 2012 as the opening General Manager of the Homewood Suites by Hilton in Springfield, Virginia.  Being credited with one of the fastest ramping Homewood Suites in the Brand at the time, the hotel was awarded Hilton’s Opening Hotel of the Year.  Additionally, Chris was awarded Hilton’s General Manager of the Year for the Homewood Brand.  Chris moved within the Concord Portfolio and was awarded the 2017 General Manager of the year for Concord Hospitality and in 2018 he was promoted to his current position of Regional Vice President.

With two decades of hospitality experience, Chris has held several leadership positions (Full Service & Select Service) with Hilton Hotels, Marriott International, and Choice Hotels.  His experience with new openings, renovations, food & beverage, and employee relations proves highly valuable in the regional oversite role.

Chris holds a Bachelor of Science degree from North Carolina Central University in Hospitality & Tourism Administration.  He currently serves on the Board of Advisors of the Hospitality Program of NCCU.  Chris also leads Concord’s Diversity & Belonging Council as the current Co-Chair.  In his free time, Chris loves traveling and spending time with family and friends.
