Lisa Cox
Two decades of legal experience — mainly rooted in commercial real estate and hospitality, Lisa is responsible for overseeing all legal matters for the company. From ensuring compliance across jurisdictions to structuring complex deals, she provides trusted legal guidance to the leadership team, helping the company maximize profitability through quality representation and navigating the current hospitality landscape with integrity.
She has held senior roles at several prominent law firms, including Greenberg Traurig, LLP, Kirkland & Ellis LLP, and Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP, where her practice focused on commercial real estate, with an emphasis on hotel management and franchise agreements. She also spent over a decade at Hyatt Hotels Corporation as Senior Counsel, where she played a key legal role during a transformative period for the company marked by Hyatt’s 2009 initial public offering and extensive growth through the launch and acquisition of several brands.
A lifelong Chicagoan, Lisa is a double Fighting Illini, having earned her Bachelor of Science and Juris Doctor degrees from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
