Historic charm, unmatched rooms and elevated dining make Hotel West & Main a new hotspot for locals and travelers alike

CONSHOHOCKEN, Pa. (October 13, 2022) – In partnership with Keystone Development and Investment, Concord Hospitality announced the opening of Hotel West & Main, Tapestry Collection by Hilton in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania. “Keystone is pleased to announce the opening of Hotel West & Main, the final installment of SORA West, our transit-oriented mixed-use development in Conshohocken,” said Keystone’s Founder and CEO Bill Glazer. “We’ve connected Fortune 10 company AmerisourceBergen to one of the area’s most important sites, opened the first hotel in Conshohocken in more than two decades, and brought the former Washington Fire Company back to life as a gateway to the development with two restaurants, successfully transforming SORA West into Conshohocken’s new town center.”

“From an upscale dinner event to a casual meet up with friends, Hotel West and Main is your answer for almost any experience,” said General Manager, Josh Davalos. “We have created a hospitality and dining hub that both locals and hotel guests can enjoy.”

Historic Charm, Modern Amenities

Hotel West & Main pays homage to the property’s history through design features in common spaces and guest rooms. A restored firepole extends to every floor while the lobby boasts the firehouse’s original 16-foot windows and utilizes the firefighters’ lockers in the hotel’s market area which will feature locally sourced options to enhance guest’s stay.  The hotel’s ballroom also features 1,722 square foot pre-event foyer with floor-to-ceiling windows offering views of Conshohocken.

Guest Rooms

Hotel West & Main expands onto 6 floors, with 127 rooms. Upscale amenities are provided in each guestroom, with Wi-Fi, blackout drapery and robes and slippers to ensure ultimate relaxation. With 81 king rooms, 46 queen rooms, suite options, and corner rooms that overlook beautiful views of Conshohocken, there is an option for all. Additional amenities include a coffee machine, glass shower enclosure, vanity with a backlit mirror, desk, a 55” LG TV, a mini fridge, barn doors, and luggage bench with storage. Décor and finishes were thoughtfully composed by the Interior Image Group and consist of blues and neutrals, with many wooden and leather textures and dark chrome and matte black finishings throughout.

Unparalleled Design

Upon entering the property, guests will discover many moments from the building’s past. The former Washington Hose and Steam Fire Engine Company, No. 1, has been restoring and keeping architectural components at the forefront. The original 16’ tall painted windows, metal wall panels, wooden finishes and wood floor are all restored. The fireman’s lockers are used as cabinets in the retail and front desk space, with a backdrop that displays a woven fire hose feature. The horn code board is displayed in the main lobby lounge where guests can also see the refurbished firepole in the lobby and on the second floor.

There is a modern balance of the industrial past and the influence of the Main Line’s established opulence. The interior boasts a paradox of style with an authentic and approachable edge that is effortlessly cool. There are many nods to the Conshohocken neighborhood, with art in the guest rooms referring to “The Conshy Strut”- a famous dance known by locals. The lobby lounge features art made by scraps and tires to pay tribute to the Lee Tire Company.

With 5,241 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space, this multi-purpose ballroom is perfect for memorable events- from corporate events, mitzvahs, weddings, engagement parties, birthdays and more. The room can be divided into three sections and seats up to 300 guests.
