Leading hospitality manager and developer, Concord Hospitality Enterprises Company, has been named to the 2018 Grant Thornton North Carolina 100® (NC100), which ranks the state’s largest private companies by revenue. The company has been included on the NC100 list since 2012, ranking in the top 20 annually. This year, Concord Hospitality comes in at No. 14 on the list, moving up one spot.
“We are proud to be recognized as one of the top-performing private companies in North Carolina for the seventh year in a row,” said Mark Laport, President and CEO of Concord Hospitality. “Our inclusion on this list reaffirms our commitment to the Tar Heel state and our focus on giving back to the communities in which we live and work.”
Earlier this year, Concord Hospitality officially welcomed its 100th property to its growing portfolio of top-tier brands. Headquartered in Raleigh for 15 years, Concord Hospitality’s portfolio currently includes 10 properties located across the state, with more slated to open in the coming years. The award-winning hotel company has spent the last 33 years partnering with owners and investors on more than $2.5 billion in properties across North America.
“At Concord Hospitality, we believe our people are our greatest strength, and we could not have achieved this accolade without the help of our more than 800 North Carolina-based employees, along with our thousands of additional associates across the nation,” added Laport.
Since 1984, the NC100 has ranked the state’s largest private companies by revenue in the most recent fiscal year, based on data provided by the participants. The complete NC100 list was released in the October issue of Business North Carolina and can be viewed at GrantThornton.com/NC100.
