Concord Hospitality Appoints Hai Nguyen as Regional Vice President of Sales and Marketing

RALEIGH, N.C. (Feb. 25, 2019) – Leading hospitality manager and developer, Concord Hospitality Enterprises Company, is pleased to announce the promotion of Hai Nguyen to Regional Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Nguyen’s core responsibilities will include assisting hotels in the development of strategic marketing plans and efforts, ensuring all hotels in the Northeast Ohio and Michigan territories are hitting topline revenue projections and working with sales leaders on professional development.

Nguyen joined Concord in 2010 as a Sales Coordinator and has served as Director of Sales and Marketing since 2011. In this most recent position, he worked with multiple hotels in diverse markets and interfaced with a task force team dedicated to ensuring the success of specific properties. His portfolio consists of high-performance chains such as Marriott, Hilton, Choice Hotels and more. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of East Stroudsburg and attained his Master of Business Administration at Fairleigh Dickinson University.

“Sales and marketing now require a more holistic approach, as they encompass an understanding of digital marketing and revenue management, in addition to more traditional direct sales efforts. An integrated strategy can make the difference between winning and losing market share in an increasingly competitive landscape in which we are vying for business from traditional competitors like other hotels and newer entrants such as home sharing services,” said Nguyen. “It is my mission to work with my sales directors to ensure we achieve optimal results in these new market conditions in order to make a positive impact on our assets and assist with the company’s overall growth.”
