Dan Fernandez Joins Concord Hospitality as Vice President of Digital Marketing

Hospitality industry veteran brings more than a decade of experience with him to new role

RALEIGH, N.C. (June 12, 2018) – Concord Hospitality Enterprises, a leading hospitality owner, manager and developer, is proud to welcome Dan Fernandez as the newest addition to its leadership team. As Vice President of Digital Marketing, Fernandez will oversee the digital marketing department with a focus on positioning Concord as a leader in the hospitality digital marketing industry.

Prior to joining Concord, Fernandez was a key contributor at Cendyn – a top hospitality marketing and data firm – where he spent eight years leading the digital marketing division, which included Cendyn’s strategy, search engine optimization, search engine marketing, social media, advertising operations and digital marketing business development. During this time, he led the digital marketing strategy for more than 100 independent properties such as Hotel Del Coronado, The Broadmoor, The Breakers and Fontainebleau, as well as property management companies White Lodging, Sage and Interstate where he developed digital marketing strategies for Marriott, Hyatt, Hilton and InterContinental Hotels Group properties. Before that, Fernandez worked with the digital division at Omnicom’s Zimmerman Advertising where he worked on the Atlantis Paradise Island account. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration in management and marketing from Florida Atlantic University.
