Matt McClelland
Mr. McClelland joined Concord in 1997 as Director of Operations for the full service Marriott in West Des Moines, Iowa. He began his hospitality industry career with Marriott International in 1989 where he quickly excelled through management roles in customer service, sales, food and beverage, maintenance and administration. Mr. McClelland served in key executive leadership roles in every Marriott hotel brand and held the position of hotel opening manager for Marriott International. He also served as lead general manager of 62 hotels in the Midwest Region, area director for 15 hotels throughout the Midwest and received the prestigious Marriott International General Manager of the Year award. In his current role, Mr. McClelland currently oversees the operational excellence of all of the hotels in Concord’s portfolio.
