Members of Concord Hospitality’s Revenue Optimization Team Recognized for Excellence in Revenue Management Field

Concord Hospitality associates receive Certified Revenue Management Executive (CRME) certifications

Concord Hospitality Enterprises, a leading hospitality owner, manager and developer, is proud to announce that 13 members of its revenue optimization team have received Certified Revenue Management Executive (CRME) certifications from the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International (HSMAI). Recipients of CRME certification must pass an exam administered by HSMAI after first earning a minimum number of credits through hands-on experience and education.

“The knowledge our associates gain through certifications like this is infused throughout the organization as top and bottom line strategies are crafted and executed,” said Karen McWilliams, Vice President of Revenue Strategy for Concord Hospitality. “These programs are one of the many reasons Concord Hospitality’s market index has climbed nine years in a row, which is a hearty measurement of success. We recognize the importance of investing in our associates and are proud to congratulate each and every one of them on their certifications.”

According to HSMAI, a CRME title is recognition that the recipient is:

  • A professional in the field of revenue management and clearly conversant with its intricacies and importance
  • Competent to develop an infrastructure to support revenue management within the framework of the organization
  • Able to maximize revenue opportunities and optimize profits by managing revenue
  • Capable of making informed decisions to accept or reject pieces of business to meet overall organizational goals
  • Proficient at the art and science of revenue management

The exam candidates must pass includes content focused on showcasing their mastery of market reconnaissance and positioning, market segmentation, forecasting, revenue strategy, digital marketing insights, inventory control strategies and performance analytics.

This year, CRME certifications were presented ahead of HSMAI’s annual revenue management conference, which took place in Houston in June 2018. Concord Hospitality associates that received CRME certifications include Karen McWilliams, Vice President of Revenue Strategy; Ali Griffin, Corporate Director of Revenue Strategy; Dennis Morris, Corporate Director of Revenue Strategy; Keith Frey, Director of Market Strategy; Talia Sattler, Director of Market Strategy; Amanda Kaczmarczyk, Corporate Manager of Revenue Strategy; Denise Scholl, Corporate Manager of Revenue Strategy; Heather Suitt, Corporate Manager of Revenue Strategy; Jill Loggans, Corporate Manager of Revenue Strategy; Jill Travetto, Corporate Manager of Revenue Strategy; Lene Kiester, Corporate Manager of Revenue Strategy; Meredith Carty, Corporate Manager of Revenue Strategy; and Natalie Machleder, Corporate Manager of Revenue Strategy.
