
Mr. Laport founded Concord Hospitality Enterprises Company in 1985 and has led the company as both a hotel management company and an active developer of hotels. His leadership and entrepreneurial vigor have earned Concord recognition as one of the largest hospitality companies in North America with hotels in both the US and Canada. Concord Hospitality has been honored with numerous Industry awards over the years and was recently awarded Marriott’s highest honor for hospitality excellence, the Partnership Circle Award for 2009. Additionally, the coveted Marriott Developer of the Year Award was presented to Mr. Laport at the annual Marriott CFRST Owner Conference. Concord is honored to have been the recipient of both awards in prior years.
Mark Laport has served key roles on various franchise committees ranging from full service to select service hotel brands. He has also been Chairman of the Courtyard by Marriott Franchise Advisory Council since 2002 and is currently a member of the Renaissance Franchise Advisory Committee as well.
His aptitude for locating, developing and operating hotels in niche markets has been crucial in Concord Hospitality’s remarkable sustained growth. The company has gained valuable partnerships with NYSE Hotel REITS and major institutional investors, including Lubert Adler. Concord currently manages over 70 hotels and 9,000 guest rooms.
Mr. Laport holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Mount Union College and a Master of Science degree in Hotel and Tourism Management from the Rochester Institute of Technology.

Mr. Branca has over 37 years of experience in general construction, construction management and project development. Mr. Branca has a B. S. in Architectural Engineering and a B. S. in Business Administration from the University of Colorado and is a professionally licensed engineer in the State of New Jersey.

Mr. Kellock joined Concord in September of 2008 as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer responsible for overall performance and corporate strategy. Prior to joining Concord, Mr. Kellock served as Senior Vice President of CFRST Franchising for Marriott International’s select service brands including Courtyard, Fairfield Inn, Residence Inn, SpringHill Suites and TownePlace Suites. During his tenure at Marriott International, Mr. Kellock facilitated the franchising of over 1,600 hotels. Through his career, Mr. Kellock has also served as Marriott’s Group Vice President for Select Service Brands, Brand Vice President of Fairfield Inn and various management positions with Whitbread Hotel Company in the United Kingdom. Mr. Kellock holds a Bachelor’s degree in hotel management from Bournemouth University in the United Kingdom.

Mr. Osiecki has been with Concord since its inception in 1985 and has more than 28 years of construction experience, including hotels, commercial offices and condominiums. He directs the development and new construction of Concord’s hotels, in addition to the conversion of existing properties. Mr. Osiecki is involved with site development, conceptual design requirements, project budgeting, securing and managing of all architects, engineers and designers and manages contractors throughout completion of all construction phases.

Mr. Polo joined Concord in April 2001 as the opening General Manager of the Courtyard by Marriott in Altoona PA. He has over 30 years of experience in hotel, restaurant and country club management, as well as previously owning and operating his own restaurant. Mr. Polo was voted the General Manager of the year for Concord in 2002, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel / Restaurant Management from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Rutherford, NJ. Since joining Concord, Mr. Polo has served as General Manager and Regional Director of Operations overseeing properties in various states and currently serves as Senior Vice President of Operations over all Concord-managed properties.

Mr. Sabroff is responsible for acquiring third party management contracts, negotiating partnerships, forming strategic alliances and forging industry relationships to support Concord’s growth. Mr. Sabroff has nearly 25 years of industry experience completing over 30 transactions within the last 12 years. Mr. Sabroff has extensive relationships with capital market providers and many of the leading hotel brands including Marriott, Hilton, Doubletree, Starwood, Hyatt, Intercontinental Hotels Group, Wyndham Hotel Group, and Choice Hotels. Mr. Sabroff’s prior experience includes senior management positions with Boykin Management Company, McDonald & Company Investments, Coopers & Lybrand, and Laventhol & Horwath.
Mr. Sabroff has appeared as a guest panelist at several industry and trade conferences including the Lodging Conference, Hunter Investment Conference, JMBM Developers/Condo Hotel Conference, IMN, and ISHC. Mr. Sabroff holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Michigan State University in hotel, restaurant and institutional management.

Mrs. Punke was promoted to Vice President of Human Resources in June of 2007. She joined Concord Hospitality in 1994 and has made countless valuable contributions to the company throughout her career. Mrs. Punke received the GM of the year award in 1998 and has also been awarded numerous key contributor awards. She has an extensive and successful background in operations including serving as Vice President of Operations from 2002 – 2007. During that time she opened a total of seventeen hotels, including leading the charge of Concord's surge into Canada by opening five hotels in seven weeks. She also developed and implemented many of the company's Human Resource and Organizational Growth initiatives, to include training and development. As Vice President of Human Resources, Mrs. Punke oversees organizational design and development in the company including areas such as Structure; Recruitment; Talent Acquisition and Development and Succession Planning. Mrs. Punke currently serves as chairperson of the Ohio State University Hospitality management advisory board. Mrs. Punke holds a B.S in Business Administration from West Liberty State College in West Virginia.

Mr. Cornell joined Concord Hospitality Enterprises Company in September, 1995. He has worked in various operational and technological capacities such as General Manager, Corporate Director of Management Information Systems and Senior Director of Information Systems. He was awarded the Corporate Associate of the Year award in 1999 and has received several merit awards. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Hotel and Restaurant Institutional Management and a minor in Business Liberal Arts from Penn State University. He has studied International Business and Finance as well as Development of European Cuisine abroad in Switzerland's Ecole Hoteliere Les Roches. Mr. Cornell is also a member of the Marriott Franchise Technology advisory committee. His responsibilities include general business planning regarding technology and systems required to maintain company operations and competitiveness.

Mr. McAteer joined Concord in 2003. During his prior 12-year career with Marriott International, Mr. McAteer worked in numerous leadership capacities including the position of Area General Manager for Courtyard and certified Regional Sales Trainer for Residence Inn. During Mr. McAteer’s time with Concord, has held the position of General Manager for both Courtyard and Renaissance hotels. In all he has held General Manager or Executive Team positions in 4 different Marriott Brands. He is an active member of the Renaissance & Marriott Hotel and Resorts Marketing advisory committee. Mr. McAteer holds a B. S. in Hotel & Restaurant Management from Mercyhurst College in Erie Pa.

Mr. McClelland joined Concord in 1997 as Director of Operations for the Full Service Marriott in West Des Moines, Iowa. He began his hospitality industry career with Marriott International in 1989 where he quickly excelled through management roles in customer service, sales, food and beverage, maintenance and administration. Mr. McClelland served in key executive leadership roles in every Marriott hotel brand from Fairfield Inn to Full Service and held the position of hotel opening manager for Marriott International. He also served as lead general manager of 62 hotels in the Midwest Region, area director for 15 hotels throughout the Midwest and received the prestigious Marriott International General Manager of the Year award. In his current role, Mr. McClelland oversees and organizes all capital improvements and renovations for Concord’s hotel portfolio.

Mr. Ness joined Concord Hospitality Enterprises in July of 2003 and helped relocate the Corporate Offices from Cleveland, OH to Raleigh, NC. Prior to joining Concord he was employed with Marriott International for 20 years. He managed an array of Full Service properties as the Director of Finance for each property. He was the Director of Finance for the New Jersey Sales Cluster and the Newark Revenue Management Group as well as being the NJ Area Director of Finance overseeing 8 Full Service Hotels. Mr. Ness holds a Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management from the Oklahoma State University.

Mrs. Richter joined Concord Hospitality Enterprises Company in July of 2007. Prior to joining Concord, she was Vice President and Controller of Boykin Lodging Company, a publicly traded hospitality real estate investment trust, for five years. Mrs. Richter was an Audit Manager with Arthur Andersen LLP for eight years before joining Boykin. Mrs. Richter holds a Master of Science in Accounting from the University of Central Florida.

Mr. Schirtzinger joined Concord in February of 2002 as Corporate Director of Sales and Marketing. Mr. Schirtzinger has over 21 years of management, operations, sales and technology experience in the hospitality industry including over 10 years with Marriott International. Mr. Schirtzinger began his hospitality career at the Holiday Inn in Jacksonville Beach, Florida while majoring in Electrical Engineering at Florida Community College. Mr. Schirtzinger was an instrumental part of opening Marriott International’s 18th Residence Inn in Columbus, Ohio. Mr. Schirtzinger’s unique blend of hospitality experience and electrical engineering knowledge led to the development of many unique technology solutions geared towards addressing management and guest service needs. Mr. Schirtzinger is responsible for the development of proprietary revenue enhancing and reporting programs for Concord’s portfolio of owned and managed hotels.

Mr. Roberts joined Concord in 2004. During his prior 15-year career with Marriott International, Mr. Roberts worked in numerous leadership capacities including the position of General Manager of several Courtyard division hotels. During Mr. Roberts' time with Concord, he held the position of Courtyard General Manager. During his general manager tenure with Concord, he captured the prestigious 2006 Hotel of the Year Award for the Courtyard division of Marriott International. Mr. Roberts is currently on the board of directors for The Pennsylvania Tourism and Lodging Association and The Greater Pittsburgh Hotel Association. Mr. Roberts holds a B. S. in Hotel, Restaurant, and Institutional Management from Pennsylvania State University in State College, PA. In addition, he is a graduate of The United States Army’s Command and General Staff College in Carlisle, PA, mastering in military strategy. He currently holds the rank of Major spanning a 19-year career in the United States Army Reserves Logistics Command

Mr. Hiller joined the Concord team in 2001. Ken was with the Stouffer/Renaissance Hotel Company for 27 years, holding numerous operations positions from Food & Beverage Director to General Manager. He assisted in opening full service hotels from Westchester, New York to St. Louis, Missouri. Holding positions in the corporate office, Ken assisted in the Marriott acquisitions of Ramada International Properties and the development of their International Reservation Centers. Brian McSherry joined Concord in February 2009 as Vice President of Operations for the Northeast Region of hotels. He has over 30 years of hospitality experience starting in food and beverage operations with progressive movement throughout all hotel disciplines. Brian has held positions on a General Manager and Regional level in multiple brands including Marriott, Hilton, Wyndham, and Intercontinental hotels. Most recently Brian had supervision over multiple hotel sites in a large geographic area including the United States, Caribbean and Mexico. He also has spearheaded many guest service initiatives and programs for multiple hotel brands with measureable success. Brian has an Associate Degree in Culinary Arts and a Bachelor Degree in Hotel Management from Johnson and Wales University. Brian has also earned his MBA from the University of Phoenix. [Back to Top]
Mr. Burch joined Concord Hospitality in 1997 after having worked for Marriott International for 4 years. Beginning as a front desk supervisor for the State College, Pennsylvania, Residence Inn, it became clear that Andy would have a long career with Concord where he quickly excelled in leadership positions. To date, Andy has more than 14 years of management experience in the Hospitality Industry, and has improved operations and increased profitability in every facility under his management. His many achievements, such as Manager of the Year in Willoughby, Ohio, Opening Hotel of the Year in Beachwood, Ohio, and Hotel of the Year in Houston, Texas, has been recognized by Marriott International and Concord Hospitality. Mr. Burch’s success in building incredible teams, stem from his philosophy of fostering well-being in the work place. Andrew has been recognized on multiple occasions for not only his guest satisfaction results but also his associate satisfaction results. Andrew has a track record of building efficient and profitable hotels, building success into all areas of staffing, sales and marketing, organizational structure, and service.
